Blue Grama Grass

Common name: BLUE GRAMA GRASS
Botanical name: Bouteloua gracilis

Light: Full Sun                         Height: 8-16 inches

Water: very drought tolerant but will flourish with water
Soil Type: sandy, gravelly

Warm season (greens up in June) bunchgrass with blue-green foliage.  Delightful purplish comb-shaped flowers look like eyebrows; useful for borders and on very dry sites
