Common name: Idaho fescue
Botanical name: Festuca idahoensis

Light: full sun to partial shade  
Height: 12 – 40 inches
Water:  very drought tolerant but will be larger size with water
Soil type: well-drained sandy to moderately loamy soils

Perennial bunchgrass with blue foliage when dry; retains color through winter; beautiful in grass areas or next to sagebrush
