Water:  drought tolerant once established but thrives with some water in well-drained soils
Soil type: well-drained deep loamy to clay soils

Beautiful native bunchgrass that forms dense clusters with draping foliage and 2-3′ tall flowers; beautiful grass in garden settings or in meadows
